Chelsea Corner prides itself on it’s incredible dishes and daring cocktails. There is consistent innovation and evolution in the kitchen, but without the menu management software providing leading and lagging indicators, any restaurant is either shooting in the dark or not evolving beyond it’s paper menu.
Captive Diner menus were deployed in-store and on the web. With no paper menus to opt-in to, guests not only became familiar with scanning the QR code to view the menu, but they discovered something new each time they returned.
By year 5, Chelsea Corner had quadrupled it’s revenue from the first year and now operates as a $5M stand-alone location.
The dynamic in-store menu is different than the menu on the web. Because it’s dynamically day-parted, guests are seeing Happy Hour during Happy Hour and Brunch during Brunch….without having to scroll through non-available menus.
Because the restaurant controls the display, it created opportunities to showcase private event rooms, catering and also Chelsea’s new food truck.
The nimbleness of the menu system allowed the restaurant to get creative with new dishes and drinks by promoting them to the top of the menu. This helped shape the staple items and also created an environment for collaboration.
